- Camp
Since the school launched the summer camp program for students to study at Huijia, it has been welcomed by the overseas parents and their children. Some of them go to next school summer camps, and some of them become full time students at Huijia. This year our summer camp will not only continue the transfer program, but also education on Olympic Games will be added to enable students to learn Chinese better and feel the Olympic atmosphere.
This summer camp focuses on the Chinese culture, China Overview, Chinese customs, China's scenic spots as the theme, in accordance with the nations. folk-customs, as well as lectures taught by experienced teachers of Chinese as a foreign language. We have also set up classes in Chinese to help students practice through outdoor activities, community activities, as well as visiting to historical sites, museums, first-hand experience and understanding of China Folkways, and stimulate their interests in learning Chinese language.
- Course
Classes focus on practical, innovative and interesting ways. Highlight the characteristics of teaching, and make teaching methods flexible and vivid. Based on students real Chinese level, the students will learn in different classes and enhance the ability to read and write Chinese, grasp and understanding of Chinese culture. A graduation certificate will be granted unpon completion of the camp.
Nations module:
The Purpose is to understand China's ethnic minority representative (names, customs, etc.). In the understanding of the customs and habits, learn to sing folk songs. School will organize students to visit the national park with their own expense.
Folk-customs module:
To introduce traditional festivals and eating habits, art, opera, and other cultural traditions at the core to enable students to multidimensional understanding of China. In addition, students will be organized to visit well-known Tea House, taste snacks in Beijing Wangfujing or Shichahai and visit the exhibitions in Capital Museum of Beijing.
Sceneries module:
On the scenic spots in various parts of China, school organizes students regularly to famous scenic spots as well as surrounding sightseeing. In the meantime, they can feel, personally experience the grandeur of the rivers and mountains of China, and also improves the friendships among students.

Chinese categories:
Chinese basis, day-to-day conversation, tongue twister, Chinese reading, writing training in Chinese classical poetry, story idiom;
Cultures:
Chinese Opera (Peking Opera Appreciation with the Beijing Opera mask), the humanities and traditional festival customs, ancient Chinese folk stories, eating culture, art, etc;
Painting, calligraphy and crafts categories:
Calligraphy, painting, paper, ceramics, etc.;
Artistic categories:
Piano, Chinese instruments, folk music, folk songs, folk dance, etc;
Sports:
Golf, bowling, swimming, basketball, soccer, table tennis, etc;
Kung Fu categories:
Martial arts, tai chi (24 forms, 48 forms), changquan 3 forms, tai chi sword (primary).
Extra-curriculum activities
Cultural and sports activities:
Cultural Shows(singing, calligraphy, painting), fun activities(fun games), sports(soccer, badminton, bowling, tug-of-war competitions, swimming competitions, golf, etc.)
Outings:
1) The Olympic venues: Bird Nest, Water Cube, Olympic National Stadium, Olympic Aquatic Park, Laoshan Cycling Hall, Beijing Shooting Range flying saucer range, the Olympic Forest Park, field hockey, archery fields, Chaoyang Park, beach volleyball courts, 13 Tombs Reservoir Triathlon.
2) Cultural sceneries and modern hi-tech facilities: A Dream of Red Mansions Daguanyuan, China Film Museum, the China Science and Technology Museum, China's aviation Sky City, the ancient culture Liulichang Street, Beijing institution of higher learning, picking the best farms, the Capital Museum, the Great Wall Museum, Natural History Museum, aviation museums, military museums, planetariums, the Millennium Monument, the Office of Mission City Yanwu, Xiangshan Botanical Garden.
3) Traditional visits: the Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square and the Ming Tombs, the Temple of Heaven, Wangfujing, the Yuanmingyuan, Beijing zoo, the Lama Temple, Beihai, Wofosi, Yingtaogou.
4) Additional visits at students own expenses: Underwater World, amusement parks, national parks, Gong House, Lao She Teahouse, the Olympic competition, acrobatic performances.
